Atlus Confirms No New Persona 5 Trailer At TGS

Well, **** that shit.

Atlus's TGS event is on Saturday. It will last for one hour, and will feature Etrian Odyssey Untold 2, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and yes, Persona 5. But while Untold 2 and Dancing All Night will each begetting brand new trailers and footage, Persona 5 will... not.

Instead, the hosts are going to dissect the released teaser trailer for "hidden information". The same teaser trailer is also screening at Sony's booth. Seems like they're not ready to reveal more yet.

I just got very sad.

Ahhh, that's too bad man. Meanwhile, my most anticipated game had a short trailer (cutscene), 20 minutes of awesome gameplay and... wait whats that? That was only the beginning? More to show in the coming days? Oh that's nice of them.

It's confirmed to release in the West in 2015, but of course things may get delayed.

It's confirmed for a 2015 release in the US. Persona always releases just months after it releases in Japan, and it's due in Japan some time in early 2015.

Well, initially I was gonna go with 'now watch them announce a 2017 release for MGSV' but I couldn't bring myself to do it, as I'd be almost as disappointed if that happened as I would be if Zelda or Persona got delayed lol.

There was some rumor based on some Kojima tweets that the game might actually be inbound later this year.

If your not going to show something new then why bother showing the previous trailer just to dissect it. Im sure someone on the internet can and has already done that.

I'm just glad it's on it's way. One way to look at it, watching less trailers means more to see and hear for the first time when playing it.
