It's more of a hypothesis.  I will test it when I go to Best Buy in November and look in the 360 and PS3 aisles...

That sucks because when I put my preorder money down at eb games they said it was gonna be out in August, at least thats what it said in the big binder the guy pulled out.  Thats really bad news.  I gotta wait till november now.

No except in limited areas..although it is certainly true that the Cell and RSX can team up to improve the efficiency of RSX and do other effects that either alone wouldn't be able to.

The Cell may be a better CPU than most PC CPUs, but the PS3's applications in folding are pretty useless for gaming.

That and the massive bottlenecks it has in it's GPU, RAM and HDDs compared to a PC.

Only if you count the millions of older PCs and PCs that aren't primarily used for gaming. My work alone has over 600 crappy Dell workstations. As far as newer gaming PCs go, not so much.

Uh no. Have you checked out the PC GPU stats? There is allot more to a gaming machine then its CPU.
