I wouldn't mind getting a gaming PC, but honestly, the only real PC games I like are games like Starcraft 2 and Divinity. Everything else I wouldn't care that much about having the best specs for. Sony pretty much takes care of most my needs. What about you, SW?

Nope, but next gen I will. I'm only going with Nintendo for consoles in the future.

By then PCs will be even easier to bother with. No more Sony and Microsoft nonsense for me, but I will keep the systems I already own and support them as long as they're viable.

While using any combination of any controller ever, or of course mouse & keyboard...at higher resolutions and frame rates attainable by any console, with better looking textures, higher resolution shadows, better quality AA/AF, tessellation, and more.

Not to mention more and higher rated exclusives than all consoles combined, developers that build in mod support, dedicated servers for virtually every game, free backwards compatibility for virtually every game in the history of PC gaming, emulation, using the PC for more than just games, and on and on.

PC is just better.

The PC ecosystem never been healthier. It's starting to get every 3rd party titles that's coming out in the near feature. It is even getting those really small weebo titles(Hyperdimension Neptunia, Valkyria Chronicles, One Piece, etc.) that traditionally were exclusive to PS. If you had a choice between console and PC.... that's like a joke question even if the PC was borderline med range.

I built one this year but honestly....I prefer consoles and that is my choice for gaming.

Why do you prefer paying more to play fewer games at lower frame rates with limited options while having everything online locked behind a paywall?

Man I look over Steam but most of what I see is filler games. Not worth my time. And I like the experience better.

I find it funny that you say Sony takes care of all your Gaming Needs and lately I'm finding quite the opposite.

Almost all of the games I've wanted for the PS3 have been showing up on Steam lately (Dark Souls, BlazBlue, Street Fighter, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, etc) and with recent releases of Xbox One titles like Dead Rising 3 and Ryse It's all coming up to me like "How badly do I really want to play Halo or Uncharted?" when it comes to getting a PS4 and Xbox One.

Honestly I much rather build a better PC.

I think consoles have their place. What I won't ever accept is anyone saying that consoles are in any way better than PC - they just aren't, so stop it.

Yes and yes. I started gaming on consoles several years ago. I bought my first gaming PC when Max Payne came out. Later I played games from 90s that I didn't play before because I was gaming on consoles back then. Soon, I realized that this is the platform for me. Not to mention, console games have lost their uniqueness and becoming too similar to one another. So, yeah I have been Primarily a PC Gamer since 2001 and seems like I will be in the future as well.

Filler, really? Most of what's on Steam is what's available on consoles plus all the PC exclusives.

I certainly play a lot of PC games, no reason not to take advantage of such a powerful and quality system!

Yeah as you can see here, Fable....a Critically acclaimed game from 2004 Remastered for 2014 is......filler.....oh and that there Dark Souls 2 is totally not a Major Game in any short of situation and that Batman, clearly Indie.
