Nope not sick of them at all, a good character and hero is just a good hero regardless of race or gender.

Basically what your saying is your sick of heros in games....because you shouldn't make the race separation in the first place a hero is a hero they can be good and bad.

Part of it is the designers. A lot of times an artist creates their work in the image of themselves. Filling "race" spots is "racist." This thread is backwards.

I'd much prefer that character creation becomes a norm in gaming, so people can tailor their heroes to their liking. Hell, maybe they can give similar customization options to supporting characters just to make the experience a little more unique. Make them a man, make them a woman, make their skin tone whatever shade they want, customize sex, give them sexual orientation options, sometimes choose a voice if possible, customize appearance features (hair, eyes, nose, mouth, body type, etc). This way people need only be offended by their lack of imagination.

i am tired of movies and games being set in the USA. Even movies that have nothing to do with USA are remade in USA or will star an American cast. Why the hell is Akira movie going to be in NY wtf.....

Actually, this is another point of contention with Ubisoft. The original Rainbow 6 titles has multi ethnic characters with clearly definable multi region voices, predominantly European.

Then... Rainbow 6: Vegas essentially turned the series into Gears Of War with Terrorists in which you play America man.

The new Rainbow 6 title seems to suggest yet again, America power.
