Typical over reactive bullshit, "hired to work on game development", yeah, clearly she's going to be doing the fucking coding. The only genuine thing I've seen about this is here and if that's what they're basing this on and they're seriously acting like they're not just looking for another reason to attack her no matter how tenuous and unsubstantiated then they're fucking kidding themselves.

Also this line in the petition: "consultations on games should be given by more credible and experienced sources." is God damn hilarious because they get 12 year olds and all sorts of random nobodies to do focus tests for games.

What would she even do? I doubt she would have any actual impact on development.

Mirror's edge was too difficult? Why not just pick easy mode in the beginning? Or does Anita need help finding that option because ya know...she's a woman.

one component of that image is from 4chan but its composed mostly of a direct quote from Anita. below that is a story from CVG where their remarks suggest they've heard anita's criticism and decided to make some changes to the mirror's edge sequel based on her feedback.

quite honestly, i think this link from anita's dice presentation to the CVG article is a little bit diluted. i'm not sure anita's really influenced the comments in the CVG section of the image.

This has been known for a while. We'll see if anything interesting comes of it, but I doubt it. And ultimately, even if it ends up as *bleep*, it's still EA's fault for listening to any bad advice she is giving. And if it works out, hey, what do you know.

Mirrors Edge was a frustrating game. It has bad controls and a lot of its gameplay was trial and error. It's hard from a design perspective.

Is anyone getting sick of hearing about Anita. I woud'nt mind her rambling nonsense if she actually debated with people who called her on her bs. Anyway what contribution could she make to the game.

Shouldn't these Gamegate idiots want her to ruin the game? If she is responsible for ruining an AAA game that would be a huge black mark and would prevent her from ever being hired in the industry again.

It had bad level design, especially the interior parts.

I've heard more about the petition than anything to back up the claim.

If anyone is using someone like Sarkeesian for anything, it is to appeal to a group of people because she is their flavour of the month. If they were doing it, it is unlikely it would be a secret.

Anita Sarkeesian is a Hustler so if she's involve in Mirror's Edge 2, she's only doing it for the Money and Hell, can't say I blame her, make that fast money and when you see your opportunity to make fast cash money, you jump right in. An anti gamer who admitted she hates games gets to be involved in the designing of one. A surefire winner.

As for those who don't see the problem with people of her ilk, they tell you they are not trying to take your games away, whilst doing everything they can to censor them of any edginess or positive sexuality and even in some cases get them banned. GTA V in Aus springs to mind. We either have a backbone or we let these people ruin what we love.

Anita is the living version of the uninterested girl who involves herself with games for reasons other than love of the hobby. She is looking for notoriety and a payday. Unfortunate for women who actually enjoy games to have someone like that representing them.
