Anything worthwhile for Kinect in 2015?

While I do appreciate the focus on core gaming experience, it'd be nice to have some decent Kinect based games as well, especially after a string of successful titles last fall (D4, Dance central spotlight, Fantasia). The very thought of not ditching this accessory altogether would be very comforting especially that there's so much potential to be found there.

Anyway, is there any decent Kinect game on the horizon for 2015?

P.S. I predict an avalanche of Cows insane with rage preaching how it's useless overpriced piece of garbage and that Xbone users were suckered into buying it and Xboned...in 3...2...1...

Another Dance Central and Just Dance game I'm guessing. That's reason enough to own one IMO. Too bad I didn't get a Kinect with my Xbox One though, hopefully they drop the price of the Xbox One Kinect and bundle in some dance games with it down the line.

Maybe this will help, if microsoft can somehow manage' something with lemming feedback, like a focus group, or at least listen to the some more seasoned opinions on what gamers want today, it could lead to some better gaming experiences?

I wonder whats in store for E3. Maybe some change.

Don't know, but D4 and Voice Commander are great with Kinect. I think the Kinect will be used more with Microsoft VR/AR Headhead next year. I know Microsoft still had a couple regular Kinect games in the works though. We might see some of them at the E3.

We'll see if it's a joke when the XB1 VR/AR headset is released and uses Kinect. I'm happy I have a kinect with mine.

I read there are far more Kinectless Xbones sold to consumers than there are Kinected Xbones, so I fear developers and publishers see less and less reasons to support Kinect. There is more money making games for the entire Xbone fanbase instead of the tiny segmented Kinect buyers.

We can hope the smaller 1st party cranks out something worthwhile, but if they could do that, they would have had those amazing 1st party Kinect Xbone games at launch, and they didn't. They sort of put Kinect out there, told everyone Kinect was part of the machine, and hoped for the best...then released a Kinectless sku after the fact.

I fear this Kinect is headed the same exact direction as the 360's Kinect. Good for dancing and a tiny few odd experimental games.

There is also the growing problem of Kinect just not working after some time (somehow updates just dont go through the kinect). I read about Kinect Xbone problems and figured it would never happen to me, but a week or so ago, I got hit with the same bug. I think it was Halo MCC, but I'm not sure. My Kinect says it's not plugged and it's plugged in. My Xbone Kinect is now a $150 paperweight. My Kinect was never moved and in pristine condition. In fact, my Xbone doesn't even get played that much since I own all the machines and only buy only exclusives for the Xbone, no multiplats. I did all the Xbox.com "Kinect isn't working" solutions to no avail. That is Xbox.com so clearly M$ knows this is Kinect just not working one day is a very real issue as there is more than a few ways to try and fix Kinect. Perhaps it has to do with the Kinectless Xbone's out there. Considering the bleak future of Kinect after considerable analyzing and the fact I could hardly use it anyways since my 7.1 system is too loud, I haven't decided if I'm going to call Xbox to get them to try and fix (or replace) or just sell it. I'm fairly confident the Kinect just stopped working has something to do with a recent Xbone update. Eh.

MS was only in it for the Wii post of gold from last gen, that didn't pan out this gen because the waggle gimmick has worn off. MS isn't going to focus on anything Kinect when they went back on their word and dropped it like a bad habit and started making non-kinect xbone systems like no tomorrow lol.

It seems like Kinect is because less and less important for Microsoft. People don't talk about Kinect very often anymore. It's nowhere near a priority like it was originally planned. And I'm not aware of any games that really stood out as being good to begin with. Unless any lemmings want to try and enlighten everyone else if it had any games worth bragging about? Because I've never seen anyone on these forums talk about a Kinect game that was actually good.

I think Microsoft will focus more on it's virtual reality to compete with Sony's Morpheus.

Welp they have probably dropped Kinect, especially now that we found out that they will be copying... I mean... making their own VR headset.

Unless they in corporate Kinect with their VR headset, kinect is dead.

The PS Move is dead too but we know it is a great add-on to actually enhance VR style gaming.

Other than TV Kinect is dead. Just look at D4 and how they abandoned the game.

Wow, you just got your Xbone and this Kinect issue happened twice. I'd imagine it would have taken longer. It took awhile for me. It has to be something with these new updates. I've unplugged Kinect, powercycled the machine, unplugged the Xbone itself, I even deleted everything and restored factory settings. I don't know how to fix it. The idea of redownloading everything sucks as well.

If you have a stack of papers coming up in 2015, you can use it to ensure they stay in perfect order.
