Its just bunch of nonsense to me, its the reason I traded in my Wii, just didnt feel like swining around wildly anymore, its fun a few times but it gets old fast, altough 3d gaming does sound atleast a big more interesting I still think its just another gimmick to sell tv's. IMO keep games the way they are improve the physics graphics and AI. I could be wrong on 3D gaming.

I'm not.

I'm not going to blindly like something without being compelled.

Right now, I don't see anything from either camp that looks amazing...or even good.

Motion-sensing technology and 3D gaming are certainly ambitions for video games, but they really should come after video games hit a (theoretical) point at which they closely simulate reality (or are capable of simulating all possible realities). They're just gimmicks at this point, unfortunately.

i am indifferent. you think sony could have came up with a better name then wand. I am not Harry Potter, I dont want a wand. Now if they called it something like the poking stick , now that could peak my interest

I think this is a good step forward for gaming. We need to improve the controls of games. you can only go so far with a game pad or key borad . wii mote adds to gaming and we will improve on that next gen. natal looks so so to me . I don't like the idea of no controler but it does look kinda cool. i bet sony will copy this. it kinda reminds me of the eye toy anyways. we will see how well it gets supported . I really dont want ms controlling gaming . they try to rule pc and the net please not my games to lol

I really find it all uninteresting... it was the highlight of both press conferences and in my opinion, the most boring. I don't like the motion sensing gameplay, and would prefer a keyboard and mouse for any fps and controller for the rest of the genres.

Hopefully this is not the future of gaming.

About the 3D.. well looks interesting but not really necessary..

Although I may not be particularly interested in natal, the wand, or the wii-mote, I am glad they are there. The current implementation of motion sensing technology may be lackluster, but that's the way it has to go. Since all three companies are now placing bets on motion sensing games, that means all three companies are funneling money into improving the technology, and with time, I'm sure we will find it hard to believe that we ever played games with buttons Otherwise I feel similary about 3D. I'm pretty sure we all love 3D gaming, but we hate the implementation: head ache inducing glasses, sparse 3D content, and very gimmicky uses of 3D. If 3D worked as easily as looking at a television, I see little reason why anyone would complain. As 3D becomes mainstream, great content will follow.

Not interested atm, if any good games come for it, maybe.

But some some games just need a controller/ buttons.

Until I see something that looks promising, not particularly.

Nothing shown, but many possibilities. Basically at this point there isnt anything concrete but the idea itself to get excited about. That being said I think it will be a great time. I would love to see Fight Night using natal or the wand, use head tracking to peak around corners or even play a game like Heavy Rain, where you open drawers and pick up stuff by actually mimicking the action (all just hopeful speculation).

Natal, I don't mind giving a try. Might be fun like the wii was/is. 3D gaming is a horrible gimmick that I don't wanna fall into. I don't wanna pay like $3000 for a new TV and have to buy glasses just to see some things "pop" out at me

I'm not. Motion controls don't like me. I don't expect that to change.

Depends on how they implement them with the games, but right now im in no rush to buy either at launch until I see them used in a proper game.

I think we all need to give this thing a chance. Motion controls could be preferable in SOME games and the 3-D technology sounds intersting. The only way the 3-D games will take off though is if they DON'T require glasses.

No to the motion tech crap, maybe to the 3D.

I think 3d would be moving further more than motion gaming.

Not the Natal at all, but 3D gaming in general sounds interesting.

but if more resources go into this type of gaming, there will be less invested in conventional gaming.
