Just give me a ak47 and thats it. All this pew pew crap is lame. Leave that to halo. This COD looks like a titanfall clone.
just give me a shotgun that's got range to it and I'll be happy, I'm sick of these games with shotguns only effective at melee range
I like the Sci Fi shooters. Advanced Warfare could very well be the first Call of Duty game I have bought since Modern Warfare 2.
Been saying this for 5 years, enough with these scifi, fantasy bs shooters. I want a gun, a mission, and an open world. No aliens, no elves, no mutants, no time traveling/bending, and no fucking ray guns!

so you want completely generic fps #5443513?
I'm sick of shooters period. Not shooting elements in Open world games for example but FPS most def. I want to play a nice RPG and racing game.
I'm tired of FPS/shooters - PERIOD.
I'm not tired of Open World games yet, but I'm starting to get there too. inFamous:SS and Watch Dogs were a nice "alternative", but I see this genre getting milked to death very soon too.
I got sick of platformers years ago.
We need a new genre.
Nice sig and avatar, that was fast. :P
lol thanks. A buddy of mine said the same.
I'm already satisfied with this E3. 2 Tomb Raider games announced=happy fweadum

What fantasy shooters? I'm still waiting for more FPS "magic power" multiplayer arena games.
Let's go back to WWII. I'm ready.
This too
I quit playing the FPS genre, altogether, quite some time ago. I think the last FPS I bought was the first Modern Warfare.
No. Sure as hell beats all of this modern military schluck that we've been getting over the past few years. More futuristic shooters please.
Ok
@MonsieurX: shut your mouth.
I hate that guy, he thinks he knows everything when in reality he knows jack shit. his whole life is based on speculation. quantum physics is like a disney fairytale for all we know.
I love shooters, but I am tiring of the online component. They arent as much based on skill as they based on each persons connection!
Killzone 2 and 3 were great in this regard, though futuristic in setting, much of the design of the Helghast and ISA weaponry was (in a future sense) rustic, sits really well with the world's monolithically rustic industrial environment, coupled with the old world battlefield tactic of throwing numbers of infantry and campaigns of shock and awe at the enemy. It was a nice unique touch to the Killzone franchise, and one they seemed to abandon with Killzone: Shadow Fall's high powered , technologically advanced, lone wolf approach. Maybe they went with a colorful futuristic approach for all that mindlessly regurgitated hate for earthy tones, but if anybody owned that color pallet it was the Killzone series.
I've been tired of the WW2 and modern warfare FPS games for a while now. ARMA 2 is the only modern warfare game I play. I'm also tired of Medieval era-themed RPGs. I'm not in the mood for more swords and shields.
That leaves flight sims, futuristic/steampunk FPS games, TPS games (Dead Space, ME trilogy, and Watch Dogs), sports games (PS3), and strategy (both turn-based and realtime) as my genres right now.
Shooters in general are getting extremely boring. In fact gaming in general is heading that way due to the lack of new genres and milking. And many games in different franchises all including very similar elements
