All GTA V rumors debunked .

A couple of days ago, we informed you about a rumor regarding GTA V’s release date. As the rumor suggested, the game is to be delayed to 2015. However, Rockstar’s official support team declined those rumors, claiming that the game is still planned for a Fall 2014 release.

As Rockstar’s ‘Steve C’ wrote on the company’s official Support page:

“I’m also looking forward to the PC release, however this release date has not changed. Please see our support article, “Grand Theft Auto V Release Date on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC” for the most recent information on this topic.”

As that article suggests, GTA V is still planned for a Fall 2014 release on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Naturally, things can easily change but for now, the official word is that the game comes this Fall.

Duh

I wish they'd hurry up and announce an official release date already. I have the PS3 version and enjoyed the SP while the online was buggy as all hell. I'd love to trade in my copy for the PS4 version and be able to play it online without freezing up every 20 minutes.

People tend to just believe a rumour just because it was posted on the internet.

Isn't everything on the internet fact??

Rockstar have delayed a lot of games in the past so I can see why people might believe a rumor.. however a rumor is just that until the source that makes the announcement is the actual people making or publishing the game.

I want to replay it on the PS4, I hope the release is still for the fall, but I won't be surprised if it gets delayed till next year.

Just imagine the damn mods on GTA V.

So much better... and the fact that its playable heh. Modders have gotten better over the years.

Well, considering Take Two and Activision are courting each other, it'd be to Take Two's benefit for Activision to think a revenue generating item is ready to release, even if that's not the case. Maybe the GTA V rumors are true, they just don't have it strategically planned to announce that yet.

What about the rumor that the new versions of the game will include a new single player story (it will be available as paid DLC for last gen) that will feature a new character and have approximately 15-20 of gameplay?
