Alien: Isolation. ULTIMATE HYPE THREAD. Out this Tuesday!

They are the remains of the crew from that somewhat derelict space station. There will also be another company, besides the Weyland-Yutani involved. Its name is Seegson, which is kind of WY competitor but low-tech, and I think that's why these androids aren't as sophisticated as Bishop or Ash.

The devs said that they want to survive too, but they will not be hostile by default, the player has to react according to the situation. Some of them will be cooperative, some will be rather pissed off, but even them will warn you and give you some time to retreat, so it's possible to avoid fights with other humans throughout the entire game. One of the devs confirmed that it's possible to finish the whole game without killing any human beings.

Howdy, I'm starting my YouTube series called Salt The Fries Shocks the System soon, the first game to be featured there is none other than Alien: Isolation, expect my first impressions - containing all the DLC (as I have the game preordered with Ripley Edition) on the day of the release and at worst - the day after.

I will follow it up with a full-blown review as soon as I finish the game, and it'll be coupled with a retrospective on Alien Resurrection on PS1 and Project Firestart on Commodore 64.

I will probably be streaming the game as well, but recording clips with Game DVR has the priority (and you can't do both at the same time on Xbone).

By the way, I'm not going to read any review so all the opinions won't be influenced by anyone else.

I have a really hard time getting hyped for anything made by The Creative Assembly. I definitely won't preorder this one, as I expect it to be riddled with bugs and A.I. problems that will take dozens of patches to fix.

Still, if it turns out to be great it's going to be one hell of a nice surprise!

For some reason some YouTubers got the game a week early, makes me jealous.

Every single Alien game that has come out has been hyped up and had huge expectations..with video play and developers screaming its going to be ground breaking and incredible and the Alien game fans have been waiting for..I will NOT hold my breath..

I've been pretty indifferent to this because I think most horror games are fucking boring but the more I see the more interested I am.

Only one game comes to mind, ACM... This is a different company, lets face it gearbox was going downhill for a while.

Hopefully it's not another ACM, the previews so far look pretty good though. I'll be picking it up on Tuesday after watching the IGN Gamescon footage it got me sold
