Achievement hunting has never been so easy before

In case you have missed it, True Achievements Xbox One application has been available for download for two weeks now.

I've just downloaded it and it's great - it can work in snapped mode and you can read detailed descriptions of how to get certain achievements without interrupting gameplay at all. What's more, you can watch the assorted videos in snapped mode and the playback is smooth.

Xbox One already had a very good built-in Achievements app but I think true achievements app takes it to the new level. What about you?

Very cool, but I stopped caring about them.

I love the top achievement scores for the last 30 days.

Haven't downloaded it yet, but I gotta say I love seeing red achievements pop up.

Yeah, they give more goals in a game for example.

I don't hunt them...If I get them while I am playing then cool.

When you change the color of your pinned icons on your home menu, it changes the achievement notification as well. You can make it red or blue or orange etc.

Never cared for achievements and trophies and I never will.

i just get what i get on a play through.

every once in awhile there will be a cool one like the world of tanks one where you drive over a guy to kill him and i go after those types but other than that i don't put any effort into them.

Not sure if this is available on xbox, but I like the ability on playstation to see which percentage of players got a certain trophy, makes you feel cool if you got a rare trophy. Other than that, I don't go out of my way for them.

If you go for the achievements then you're forced to do things that you wouldn't normally do in a game. They add a nice challenge and it's quite easy to motivate yourself to get certain things if you work towards one of them because you have something to show for it even if it's just a bit of extra gamerscore.

Yes I was looking at that, but isn't like a 3rd party app or something? How meaningful are their scores, do a lot of the community use them, etc...thanks

I did like Snoy's trophies with my time on the ps3. But now on Steam and Xbone all you get are these empty "achievments". **** that man. Where's my platinum?

Yeah I don't get why people purposefully play games just to get as many achievements as possible... Each to their own I guess.
