a lot of games.. don't have the time :(

I appreciate you taking the time to give valid reasons for why these games suck. I swear I thought common sense was myth before reading your post.
- Animal Crossing (I hate it)
- Blue Dragon - What a bummer this is to me personally.
- Chromehounds - Decent concept, just not for me.
- DDR Ultramix 1 - There's like one good song on this and I'd have to look it up.
- Dead Island - Blah, not sure why I don't want to play this. It's funner to watch someone else play to me.
- Dead Rising
- Dead Space - I really tried for about 3 or 4 hours but this game isn't that great to me.
- Devil May Cry 4
- Duke Nukem Forever - Acclaimed for what? Atleast it's not completely broken but this game fizzles!
- Final Fantasy VII
- Final Fantasy IX
- Final Fantasy Tactics
- Half-Life 2
- Jet Set Radio Future
- Just Cause I+II - Two is a big step up but it's not my cup of tea.
- Kameo - Good music, that's just about it
- Killzone
- Kingdom FING Hearts II (8 hours into this I couldn't take anymore)
- Lord of Arcana - This wasn't even critically acclaimed was just a "Monster Hunter clone" why start the game off so hard?
- Lost Planet
- Metal Gear Solid 2
- Metroid Prime
- Modern Warfare 2 (3 hours or something in I just can't take this anymore.)
- Mortal Kombat Deception - this game just isn't that good
- Ninety Nine Nights I+II - Concept is carried out much better in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2.
- Panzer Dragoon Orta
- Pokemon SoulSilver (17 hours played, it's just not the same as the old days on Red)
- Resident Evil 2
- SoulCalibur IV - This series has jumped the shark, the characters feel hollow. Bad physics.
- Star Wars KOTOR 1 (2 I played Go Obsidian I guess)
- The Simpsons Game - just not that great
- Uncharted 2
- WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 - Just not as good as 2007
- Zelda II
- Zelda Wind Waker (Gave up hours into this one)
These games don't get a pass from me. Edit 3 other games added.
Gamertag-TFTW
Elder Scrolls
Fallout
Gears of War
Halo
God of War
Jak & Daxter (2 & 3)
Max Payne
Metroid Prime 2
Banjo Kazooie
Forza
Super Mario 64
Kingdom Hearts
Knights of the Old Republic
Duke Nukem 3D
None, I've been able to get into all "acclaimed games" so far.
EDIT: Actually, Frozen Synapse and Total War: Shogun 2 are a couple of well recieved strategy games that I just can't get into; I practically have to force myself to playthrough simply because they're strategy games.
Dark Souls. I suck at it. It brings me more frustration than joy, and that's a good indication for me to stop playing.freedomfreakThis. I also suck at it, and don't see the point of trying to get better, cause the difficulty seems to be the only thing it has going.
Dark souls may be that game but I did get it a year late. When some one helped me it made it fun. Maybe I should just try to go back into it. WllDan7definitely much more fun with other people.
Demon/Dark Souls. I cannot get into a game like that because it doesn't have a story and the combat kinda sucked.
Assassins Creed games. I just dont know what it is, I dont like the games. AC2 was actually good, but something seemed off in the rest.
Infamous 2. I hated hated hated the main character change. Hated his voice, hated the way he fought, just flat out hated him. But with that said, I may buy the InFamous collection sometime the road because I like #1, and its just a better value to buy the collections.
Crysis 2. I effin hate the changes they made to the game. It completely contrary to my playstyle in #1. In 2, you cannot lay prone (effin gay and in order to run, you have to use energy and once energy is depleted you stop running (effin gay too). I wont be buying #3 unless its more like #1.
Uncharted 3. Everything about the game is way overhyped and it sucked.
To name a few
Crysis2 for me was a dissapointing given the way it changed the nano suit use from the first game.
Assassins creed 2 n 3, i enjoyed the first one perhaps cause it was new n fresh, but i basicly rushed thru the sequels because i was getting bored.
GTA4, this was a game i tried, sold, bought it again, sold, borrowed it, never played it much n etc, i jst couldnt get into it at all which is weird cause i loved RDR.
Infamous 2 also, i liked the first, perhaps cause it was new but the sequel, while better looking and what not, i just couldnt get into it at all.
MW3, good heaven, the only COD game i disliked after a few months.
Killzone, now this one gave me mixed feelings, while i did play and get a kick out of KZ2 multiplayer and tot the KZ3 campaign was decent, i just feel at some bits, its not a game endeared itself to me.
Vanquish, holy mother, what did i say, this game is awesome in terms of action, but something just made me bored n wantd to finish n delete it as soon as possible.
I didnt bother buying Skyrim, Fallout, Oblivious and all those games that feel like an open world of chore.
I tend to be cautious of Open World games that feel like a chore rather than a fun game

Wait...if you didn't buy them then how do you know they're a chore?
Half Life 2, maybe its cause im playing it now instead of when it came out but I honestly do not see what all the commotion was about.
Also Assassin's Creed 3 took so long for me to get into.
Dark Souls, Assassin's Creed 3, Uncharted 2, Skryim (to some extent anyways), GTA games before IV, Dead Rising 2, Counter Strike
Guild Wars 2: they lied about being different than other MMOs, but in reality is very very very generic itself. Waste of my money.
I can usually play any game regardless of time period if it's still amazing or holds up well, and even if it doesn't I can have fun. I enjoyed the first MGS long after MGS2 came out and I was accustomed to better controls and graphics, I can still get back into Half-Life like it was nothing, and SUper Mario 64 is still one of the best games ever made.
But my God, Deus Ex does not age well at all. I finally forced myself to play with my GPU being replaced, and once I got to Hong Kong, Steam decided to wipe my games, and apparently only new games use cloud saves so my Deus Ex saves were lost and since than I don't think I've had any desire to really play it. Before than I also managed to play some before kind of giving up.
It's just, the graphics are old, but they also seem to make no effort at aging well like Half-Life and Mario can. The controls are iffy, the combat is not great, some of the skill points are totally useless (swimming and hazard suits???), and it's so buggy it's just hard for me to immerse myself. I could see myself loving it when it released and I'd still love to finish it one day, but man is that game dated.
For the record, Human Revolution is one of my favorite games this gen.
This gen:
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Mass Effect (although I'll reinstall it and give it another go)
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
Journey, no matter how I play it or what state of mind I'm in I just can't seem to enjoy it. Doesn't mean it's not a good game though
Bioshock: It was fun, but it wasn't amazing.
Dragon Age: Origins: The Fade was the worst thing ever, the combat was dull and the setting was generic.
Battlefield Bad Company 2: Singleplayer was fun enough, but I could never really get into the multiplayer for some reason.
