I need to point out that 2017 is so far not even two months old, and we have already received six major exclusives for the PS4 already, with four of those being full exclusives. Multiple more are planned through the rest of this year, and it is also important to remember that this is before E3, GDC, Gamescom, TGS, or any other major convention or expo. Has any system ever so utterly dominated the competition?

It's a great year for video games already and the PS4 is the perfect example why. Two months in and we are already off to such a strong start!

Thanks for this reminder TC. All fanboyism aside, I for one, don't have time to play all major releases for every platform. Hence why it's good to dedicate time to only the best games. They just happen to be on PS4.

So,you have played Recore,Sea of Thieves and the rest of those games to claim they are crap?

Im sure the games are great but thats a list of games that dont interest me on the Ps4 except for Days Gone and God of War. Domination of Singleplayer games at best with one game that offers an odd hand at co-op(Nioh).

When i was growing up with Sony we had awesome multiplayer with Socom, car combat with Twisted Metal, God of War(thankfully one is coming), great arcade racer with Motorstorm. These current games on PS4 just do nothing for me so cant feel dominated by this list.

xbone is an irrelevant console at this point and i feel sorry for anyone who owns one, but doesn't own an PS4 or gaming PC.

Really tough time to be a hardcore lem right now. If you don't own a PC or PS4 at this point and only own an Xbone you're really missing out on some quality games.

MS really needs to get their act together. Sony is the poorer company yet they are just releasing back to back quality games like no tomorrow while Xbone's future lineup is a wasteland of flops and broken promises. They'd better bring it at E3 as not even Scorpio will be able to save them with the mediocre lineup they have.

Wasn't aware that DR3 and Ys were announced for it, though.

DR3 wasn't because Spike Chunsoft self publishes on Steam and doesn't need NISA for that. Besides it sold 200k units already. Can't promise a day to day release, but it'll come.

As for NIOH, KT puts every damm game on STEAM, even if the port is bad. Christ, they even ported Attack on Titan and Arsalan.

If spiderman makes 2017 it'll probably be because it's movie tie-in garbage, regardless of insomniac, so I probably wouldn't get too hyped for that. As for the rest it's a pretty decent list but I wouldn't say it's that great. Certainly nothing that couldn't be beaten by a few years from the last gen. More than anything, it just a further reminder of how garbage the other big two are doing by comparison.

@deadline-zero0: Sorry man, you can't assume ports and cross games out wantonly. If and when they are officially announced, go for it. But not for a game like Nioh, where evidence suggests Sony had a hand in bringing it to the market.

That is neither an announcement nor a confirmation. Until it's announced or confirmed for PC saying it isn't a PS4 exclusive is completely untrue.

Meh. Personal preferences and all that. While I do look forward to getting a PS4 sometime down the road because there are certainly some games I want to play I've been very happy with my Xbox One. While it may not have as many exclusives as the PS4 I do prefer the ones that it does have overall in general and I prefer to play the multi platform games on it. PC gaming doesn't interest me so I really don't care one way or the other about the games they may or may not share between the two.
