Already played this on PS3 (couldn't bear to wait haha). It's an incredible game though.

Lifetime sales for Dark Souls on the PC are over 1.3 Million,not 300k.

Looks too hardcore. Much rather play better games like Call of Duty or Angry Birds.

My friend, I just gave you a direct source and you gave me an estimated one.

Those are numbers are factual,those are the number of people that have it registred on steam,so they own the game,thus someone bought it,thus it sold at least that number,because this doesnt count people with private profiles,so the numbers for all games are certainly higher,including Dark Souls,go read the article and the responses from all the devs tweeting and in all sorts of media pointing out how accurate those numbers are.

So yeah,at least 1.3 Million has Dark Souls sold on the PC.

Yea, PC is the best until some hacker invades your game and hits you with a sword that resets all your stats.

It´s an estimation because they don´t have the full data yet but so far,over 1.3 M people are confirmed have Dark Souls on their accounts so the game certainly sold at least that,probably more considering the error margin (of around 5% I think) wich seems to be lowballing the numbers due to private profiles and such.

But on console the infrastructure is hacked along with your credit card details.

Disconnect your PC from the internet? I think that may be the only way. I could be wrong but I dont think there is a setting for it.

The first one has the offline mode in game on the PC,I´d assume this one wouldn´t be any different.

Or maybe I´m not remembering right and you have to be disconected to get that prompt while in game.

I put about 20 hours into the PS3 version, barely got into the game (beat two bosses), and now haven't played it in almost a month.

Join the Covenant on the cliffside in Majula. It increases the difficulty of some enemies (IIRC) and prevents cooperative play and invasions (IIRC).

The 300K is CLEARLY The JAPAN PC sales. Re-read the paragraph, or just look at the infographic, they are talking about the special edition sold in Japan.

The game has sold over 1.3 million on PC. Those estimated figures are pretty accurate. They've been verified numerous times by devs, and by publisher announcements.

Is the PC version's online still crap? Will pass.

i finished dark souls, my body is ready.

What i hope is for this game to receive at least half the modders Skyrim has. I want to play a beautiful Souls game FOR ONCE.

well its the only thing pc gamers have to play for the past 2 year....id say those numbers aren't impressive at all lol.

Can't imagine when I'll get around to playing this, but it sounds awesome. Glad to hear the PC version was released in a better state this go around.

It's more impressive when you factor in the 6 week delay and that many people already own it on either of the two consoles and didn't want to buy it again.

I never got the appeal of being slaughtered many times over and losing things because of it.

The difference between poopy GFWL servers and Steam dedicated servers is freaking night and day. I can't walk 10 feet without tripping over 20 summoning signs. Haven't been invaded in the open yet, but I did make it to what is clearly a PvP area and I couldn't even walk up the stairs without being invaded twice. Man this is awesome.

Rather than going down, it's jumped up to 80 thousand. Amazings.
