Yeh Yeh PC exclusives suck, and next-gen console ones will be way better and AAA but...

Still I didn´t hear about any exclusive on next-gen consoles yet. Marketing move or just nothing good to show ? When next-gen consoles are launched, how many exclusives they will have ? 1-2 plus multiplats like Wii U ?

Besides Nintendo fanboys boast about their games are so innovative and graphics doesn´t matter, while the games that trully innovate are PC, ugly looking, according to consolites, Kickstarter or Indie exclusives. Double standards ?

Looks like a pretty standard year for PC gamers. Which is to say, heaps of great exclusives and unique titles, all year round. ...and to all those who say "I've never heard of those games" or "None of those look interesting" - educate yourselves. :P

You are asking people that find it hard to build a PC (something as easy as putting a model car together) to educate themselves. Good luck with that.

Why bother, they only like the rehashes like COD and Halo.

Cool, I'll only play maybe 5 of those.

Unlike some so called "gamers".. I like to see what EVERYONE is offering before I dive in.. If the PC offers the best bang for my buck, then i'll go that route. But I've always been a console gamer and I don't see things changing too much this gen.
#11 Posted by ArchoNils2 (6160 posts) -

pretty standard for PC, to bad most of them probably won't be reviewed here and consolities will still think PC lacks exclusives ...

Oh and I backed Akaneiroenough that I can design my own weapon :D

Some of those games do look like crap though. PC gamers are delusional if they can't see that. PC will always have more exclusives because it's an open platform. Not even sure why this is in SW. Should really be in PC forums. The main problem with PC exclusives is they always have a ton of them, but less then 1/2 of them ever get released on time. The ones the do get released, there are only a few titles worth playing.

That is a pretty wild claim considering that you don't even own a gaming PC.

I'm currently playing Planetside 2, Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 on my laptop. I'll be building a new PC in the Spring. So no my claims aren't wild. I've been playing PC games before Zork 1. lol!!

I was sorely dissappointed with ESO, I hate the pay monthly fee bs.

That's true. They barely even scratched the surface. There are probably another 200+ exclusives games being made right now for PC that no one on here has even heard of. That's what happens on an open system.
#19 Posted by padaporra (3398 posts) -

Rome II and Heart of the Swarm.

A lot of those games look good, a good chunk i've ben following, another chunk are from well respected developers, another chunk are 2D games which look awesome..

Most of them will eventually be released, and most of them will be worth playing, from i can tell. Depends on your preferance, mostly.

faizan_faizan

Not much has been shown and said about it

#26 Posted by Sushiglutton (5227 posts) -
Rome Total War is the only one I'm getting for sure. Maybe Amnesia, depends on what I think of Dark Descent, which I own on Steam, but have been too scared to try yet :P. But to be completely honest I rather just have TLOU and GOW:A than those fifty games. Yep that is the truth.
#27 Posted by tagyhag (15867 posts) -
I'm surprised no one is interested in 0x10c.
#28 Posted by Sushiglutton (5227 posts) -

Oh btw Antichamber looks really cool :)! It releases 31/1 on Steam

#29 Posted by NoodleFighter (7003 posts) -

Well I guess the most exciting thing would be for programmers since it has a fully functioning emulated 16 bit CPU. :P
#33 Posted by Crysis3Soldier (111 posts) -
Lol enjoy herms.
#34 Posted by OneInchMan99 (1127 posts) -

Thats certainly a lot of games, personally I'd rather play Sly Cooper...Thieves in Time than all of them put together though.

Monthly Fee = No way.
#37 Posted by loosingENDS (11775 posts) -

Is there even a single worthy game in there ?

Besides any 2D adventures of course that i always like

The RPGs seem like jokes, all copies of Diablo top down style

Strategy games are more of the same old

Generally PC gaming is more dead than it ever was

.

PC games i want - any 2D adventure with great art, Banner Saga, Baldur or Torment kickstarters - that is all

3 games, mostly kickstarter stuff

People always say this at the start of the year when the PC exclusive list is given. Then GS ends up giving us 3x more exclusives that year.

You never learn.

#39 Posted by Samus3D (1675 posts) -

Bunch of vanilla ware games...

#40 Posted by with_teeth26 (6078 posts) -

Some awesome srategy games this year. Give me Rome 2 and Coh 2 and I'm set for the year.

Looks to be another strong year for Indie games as well, with titles like Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (which GS still hasn't reviewed) and Natural Selection 2, who needs blockbuster AAA games.

#41 Posted by Ly_the_Fairy (8652 posts) -

The best part is that this is just a selection of 50 PC titles, and not the entire list of upcoming exclusives.

It feels good being a PC gamer.

A few look interesting. Amnesia and Arma III for the most part. Though I wasn't a huge fan of Arma II.

How is that ignorant? I love the Uncharted series and cannot wait to play TLOU and I love the GoW series and am somewhat looking forward to the single player aspect of the new GoW, but he is right. The games are linear (TLOU is likely to follow a similar pacing of the Uncharted series), they are around 10 hours, and they do run at low resolutions, have almost no AA if any, and have bad framerate drops not top mention 30fps is bad enough as is.

You've played the finished copy? Could I borrow it please? I'd like to beat it before it comes out. Both games look gorgeous in action.
