LOL "45 new entertainment app experiences are coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 globally. Some of the most popular experiences such as an optimized-for-TV Twitter integration, Vine, HBO GO, ShowTime Anytime, Comedy Central, Major League Gaming (MLG)"
Tv,tv,sports,tv,...
I have to say,I am a big Xbox supporter, but this made me lol.

Agree with this, if i want apps i have tablet for that, More games less TV man.
Disagree. I want the majority of these apps on the biggest screen in my house.
Can hook my phone to my TV, so I get to use the biggest screen in my house if I decide I wish to.

Of course it does. I have well over 100 for my phone.
@AmazonTreeBoa: Yea but do you want to watch those shows on your phone? This is exactly what the Xbox One needed. I'm a cord cutter. My family strictly uses Netflix, Hulu Plus and others for our movie/TV show needs. Saves quite a bit of money.
I'm a cord cutter too, but why on earth would I spend $400-500 dollars on a console to do what a $50-100 dollar set top does already, and already has the channels on board? For less than the Xbone I got myself an HTPC, and that is a far more capable machine for such needs.
I'm not bashing MS for adding options. I'm a big fan of options. But I don't really think these add much value to the system, and I doubt many customers start looking into what streaming apps each console has. Because Everything has streaming apps these days, and almost everything is cheaper, more power efficient, easier for non gamers to familiarize themselves with, or more reliable (historically) than a video game console. Awesome for the few that want to use a console like a Roku, but a good game would be far more important news to the console's prospects.
