30 minutes of Dragon Age: Just Press X console edition

Here is 30 minutes of Dragons Age 3: something.

How feels you? Graphics look nice, gameplay? Not so much. Looks like a console action game.

Watching this one close... They have every reason NOT to **** it up... And it feels like they're gonna **** it up.

At this point no matter what they do a ton of people will still claim they fucked up, ditto for Mass Effect 4. I'm going to enjoy them, I'm already sold on lore alone, a great game is just icing on the cake.

Looks like it will be a blast to play.

Can this game get some real gameplay footage, instead of this off-screen crap?

The Witcher 2 didn't exactly have deep combat either and that didn't ruin it for people.

Meh, I'd rather play a bad Bioware game more than a good game by many other developers.

I skipped around a lot. Looks fine to me. Near the end it seemed like you could play it more like DAO if you wanted to. The Gears camera parts looked cool but I hope they're good. DA2 tried more action combat but it always feels like people making stuff like that and action JRPGs have never actually played Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, etc and actually studied them to see what makes for good action combat and the combat ends up being flat out terrible compared to even a C-quality action game.

Fingers crossed though. I enjoyed DA2 and this looks better than that.

The graphics look great, the combat is a little rough and unpolished, but it's pre-apha footage. I can see a lot of people enjoy this game.

Though personally it looks much to derivative and bland - 3rd person action game number 536. Really burned out on games with no unique identity that solely rely on production values.

I mean, i'm still going to wait until it's released, because i can't judge the entire package on this footage alone, maybe there's going to be a nice variety of great dungeon design and so forth.

Honestly I doubt anyone is really expecting a major level of quality from bioware gameplay anyway. All anyone will be paying attention to post release are the story and rpg elements, both of which they have yet to show off. I sure hope they haven't been fucked up, but the recent track record doesn't give me much confidence.

Still needs some work, but looks very promising :)

Graphics are ok I guess the budget wasn't there for a technically impressive game. I'm not really interested in the gameplay so far but I will wait and see how it goes.

I'm one of the few that actually really enjoyed DA2, so I'm certainly hyped. Still wish that had gone back to more of a Origins type of feel, but this will do. I just want more Dragon Age.

You're right. They should have tailored it to the mature tastes of the World of Warcraft and League of Legends community. They are much more "adult".

Dragons Age was the spiritual successor to baldurs gate which did appeal to a more mature audience.

It was, however, marketed towards a console audience and with dragon age 2, eventually become a console game and thus, sucked.

Well... Dragon Age: Orgins was a spiritual successor to Baldur´s Gate, but now it´s a dumb mix of ME and fantasy.

as shit as this game will be, its going to be best on PC. Noone likes compromises, except for console kids.

DA2 meets Skyrim, Ill pass and just play Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 2

I'll say one thing, the game looks good. I really love the new lighting engine.

and The Witcher 2 had awesome buttons, more so than DA2.

And thats totally an excuse for DA2/3 to have button masher 3rd person combat instead of tactical like in DAO.

DAO's combat sucked so it was changed.

ME1's combat sucked, so it was changed.

DA2's combat sucked, so its being changed again.

ME2's combat worked, so it was built upon for ME3.

Hell, Dragon Age would be better if it took after Dragon's Dogma but with more party control than try to be a lesser successor to the Baldur's Gate series.

Looks like it's coming along nicely to me. I'd like to see some direct feed game play though.

TBH, as much as a downgrade DAII was.... It was still fun. Hopefully, they find a middle ground.

This and Witcher 3 are going to kill a lot of my RPG time when they come out. Looks great to me.

Think the combat looks good. Way better than the super fast swings in DA2, now the sword swings are more measured. plus the levels look more varied unlike the copy/paste DA2.

DA:O and ME's combat did not suck.

DA:O's everything > DAII. Maybe he played the crappy console version of DAO, but on PC the combat was great and tactical.

Wow....clunky gameplay, poor shooting mechanics, very dumb AI, exploits, need I go on.

And DAO's combat is easily way to exploitable. And really DAO's combat is just an inferior version of FFXII's. Well, they ripped it off.

is this a continuation of the old games story wise? Cus I played the first one a few months ago and after 10-20 minutes I felt asleep. The game's boring as heck but cus of the graphics this one looks kind of interesting.
