My first DS4 controller lasted a little over 2 weeks before it started to show ware. I gave sony the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was a defective controller. Purchased a 2nd controller on launch day but it hasn't gotten much use until the the rubber on the first controller started to flake off. it's not been 2 weeks with this controller and the EXACT same thing is happening. My hand's don't get sweaty while gaming and because of my work sked I don't usually have more then an hour a night during the week to play. My weekend gaming can get a little heavy maybe 4 hours a day..
Is that really too much time to ask from a controller?? My DS3's and 360 and X1 controllers have held up fine, and some for years with no problems.
I called sony and was pretty pissed off with the rep, he said it's something Sony has told customers they are investigating, but can't do anything about replacing the controller.. which I understand. I got a $10 credit onto my PSN account which I appreciate but this is some bullshit.
Anyone else having problems with their DS4 joysticks?? Am I too rough on them?
