There a lot more in there. Mods are the way to go and skyrim makes it perfectly clear. Of course pc is the platform of choice for the game.

High res textures or not, game was still crap with its quests. I imagine the mods that are really worth it are the ones that add game content. There's only so many times quests like "the Jarl wants you to go here and kill a dragon/troll, kill it and return here for your reward", or "go rob this house of three valuables and return here for your reward", that shit gets old quick.

There's tons of quests that add new quests to the game. Ones that are longer and with much better storylines.

@CroidX: What does this prove? that mods are awesome. i don't think anyone would suggest otherwise. You can't pick a fight with Consoles when you have nothing to compare it too.

The question is, what will Bethesda do with this information? Will they see the number of downloads, along with the number of sales (at least 5 million by Jan 2012) and think, maybe we should make a UI that's actually usable with M+K for our future games? Or will they just say "modders will fix it" an slap us PC users with another half-assed, barebones console port? My money's on the latter.

I've already had two of my comments ninja deleted with no explanation in this thread. There seems to be some double standards going on.

I've been a member of this community for a long time, and things are being handled differently now, for some strange reason. The only fanboy group that has immunity is hermits for some reason. Anything that insults hermits gets wiped clean almost instantly, but insulting posts against the console factions are perfectly fine?

Seems like some rogue moderating is going on from a nest of hermit mods, or the new GS policy is hermits are protected, but not cows, sheep and lemmings.

Why should anybody but hermits stay here if they're protected with blanket immunity to provoke other fanboys, and any and all retaliation against them gets moderated?

This is testament that mods helps increase the amount of players to a game. Skyrim is four years old now yet thousand of gamers are still playing it. People are looking to improve there gaming experience by any means. This would never happen on console.
