Personally I dont think that Square has ever made a "crap" game, but thats just my opinion. They have made some games that I dont care for, like FF VIII and X-2. I also wasnt a huge fan of the combat system in FF X, but I learned to eventually come to grips with it. If I had to pick one game that I just didnt have any fun on it would probably be FF 1. That game was way too easy for me. I only started to have troubles in the late (and I mean like the last hour) game. The story was good, and the gameplay set the course for the next couple games, but I just found it way too easy.
I wasn't too keen on FFV- I thought that the story was a bit poor but I still enjoyed playing it. I think that gamers will always disagree on which games they like and dislike but I don't think Square has made any really bad games.
A whole lot of people at the game thread are calling it crap. They said the tore down the tradition and is no longer a Square Enix game. They say the battle system ruined it.

Well i do feel like that, kinda. I havnt experienced it yet but it looks like its way to far off the traditional roots of the series.

Ye this game is great but gets a lot of negative press.
It only gets negative press from those people who think every FF should be futuristic like VII and VIII and not the original theme of FF games. FFX-2 is the worst for reasons that I can't be bothered to explain again, it's just not a Final Fantasy.
Chrono Cross is one of the worst games I have played. Way, way to easy and a stupid story. Not to mention the main character who never says a word. See my review for more...

yea man it was sooo terrible... Search for it on Gamespot 'Ehrgeiz' is the proper spelling.. it got s 5.8=Mediocre LOL game was so crap and it was an embarresment that Cloud and Sephiroth made Appearances in it..
