If you've already played it, I hope you don't mind answering a few questions :P

From what I've seen, there's a lot of text reading, but do the characters actually speak?

Is the Card Battle system fun, and would you want to see it used in another Kingdom Hearts game?

Does the game use music by Utada Hikaru like KH 1 and 2?

Overall would you reccommend me purchasing it?

I played the GBA version and it wasnt my favorite. So I wont be picking up the PS2 version. Im having a hard time getting into any of the KH games for that matter. I want to like them but they arent working for me at the moment.

I did play the GBA version of CoM and it was a thoroughly disappointing and poor game,IMO. The card-based action battle system and the fixed camera didn't suit my taste at all.

Plus I disliked the gameplay of KH1 and the story and characters went downhill for me after the "novelty factor" of Disney and SE wore down onme.So I am not quite sure I will be ever getting back into KH until a very good game of it comes...

I bought it! I played half-way through the GBA one and wasn't very impressed. But this one seems to be a lot more worth it with all the custscenes and stuff. The battle system is pretty much the same, but flows smoother like the other Kingdom Hearts games. It's worth the buy, it's only $30 new!

I bought Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, which I imported... which contained the game known as Re: Chain of Memories in America... it's just 3D... no voice acting thou, they look wierd, also recycled graphics. It like Kindgom Hearts 1, with no voices. The combat is still the same, expect using cards to base your luck on attacking.

I'm saving up for it. CoM was my least favourite KH, but I'm interested to see how the PS2 Version turns out.

i bought this game way back on the gameboy advance, i thought it was worth it (even if i had to get used to the card battle system), i did beat it though, so if you have any questions, i'm sure i can answer them

its an awesome game, ive already played and beat the GBA version, the PS2 verison is pretty similar, just with voices obvisouly. the card system with be confusing at first, but youll get the hang of it,its actually easier to make cool combos that way.u should definitly get this game, its awesome!!!

I have both the GBA & PS2 versions of Chain of Memories. The PS2 version is a lot harder, but I noticed some of the new cards they added to the game.

I didn't really like CoM either. I would have prefered KH game that plays like the others. I did watch the CoM cutscenes on youtube to fill in the gaps for KH2 tho. I think they never should have released CoM for gba and should just have made it for ps2 as a normal KH game

After finally getting into the KH's games, and loving KH2 especially, I actually decided to pick up Re:CoM. I'm liking it a lot better than when I played the GBA version but I'm still not a fan of the card system.
