remakes are good ill probably buy it cause ive never played that ff before and about remakes are they ever gonna make a remake for FF7 ill buy that remake as soon as it comes out

You know, I heard a rumor that the only reason SE is remaking all these games is to train new programmers they have(I guess they hired a lot of them, lucky guys).

If you remember a quote by Nomura on remaking FF7, "To remake FF7, it would take over 300 programmers and a lot of money(I forgot the amount, but it might of been in the millions) to make, which is what we don't have much of at the time".

What I think is happening is, SE is training these programmers to remake FF7 for the PS3.

I think that they should remake FF7 for the PS2 instead of the PS3. it would be a little cheaper, and more people would buy it.

That's a interesting rumour, but i would like to play FF7 for the ps3, i doesn't matter how much time it would take, it would be game worth waiting for.

They already mentioned at the begining of the year that there will be a whole lot of remakes in the future, because they want to train the programmers (and get some profit in the meantime, of course). So I don't it stopping anytime soon... at least this time they will be true remakes, like FFIII for the DS was, and not just a port like FFVI Advance for the GBA.michelle_moraes

Even though he's with Mistwalker, he wouldn't put it on the 360(he would put it on the DS). The sequels though, would be on the 360 though.

Anyways, I don't know why they haven't. I guess they think that putting it on the VC counts as a remake(it's a port though).

Yes! I love that scene so much! I like that one, and the one where Atomos's attack on Lindblum. It was sad, but a good cutscene nonetheless...

I think my ultimate dream would be for a full fledged-out 3D remake of Final Fantasy VI on the PS3. Seeing as how beautiful Final Fantasy XIII/Versus is looking to be, if it were to look anything like that, I think I would die. Imagine the scene at the end of the Floating Continent with full 3D graphics... :D
