Well, I like more FF themes, but Crono Trigger has a great music too (by Yasunori Mitsuda). There's only a difference, Nobuo Uematsu has done lots of masterpiece while Mitsuda only Crono.
Well, personally, I enjoy the music of Halo more than any other game series. Say what you will, even haters of Halo can agree that Martin O Donnel has got talent.
in my opinion ff has the greatest videogame soundtracks to date. sure, some other games have pretty cool soundtracks but the ff music connects perfectly with the games and the music is so diverse. when you hear a final fantasy song it immediately reminds you of something and it takes you there.Â
About everbody who is a gamer would recignize the song "One Winged Angel" so I guess it is very popular! But other games like the original Mario series music and Sonic original music can be recignized too. Old school toons get carried on!

The first Sonic has a great soundtrack! And it was performed by Dreams Come True.
