A new SE game appears with a countdown. *Final Fantasy Gaiden*

People are guessing that it could be Romancing SaGa 4. What do you guys think?

Final Fantasy Gaiden is a DS RPG in which players take control of a 14-year-old boy tasked with saving a princess. The game kicks off on your birthday as you're summoned by a King whose daughter has been kidnapped by a witch.

Jump confirms that those characters, as many have guessed based off the teaser site artwork, are designed by Akihiko Yoshida, who previously worked on Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII.

Oh a the 4 means the four warriors of light.

Just another DS RPG with Final Fantasy in it. Except its not a remake! Although it sounds similar to the beginning of the original FF. Except instead of the princess being kidnapped by a rogue knight, its a witch instead. Doesn't sound terribly original, especially the wide eyed boy with a sword riding a dragon. I may be biased though, I don't own a DS and don't plan on ever getting one. 

Looks good. I thought it was something that a fanboy made, like Dead Fantasy :P.

How disappointing, to be honest... looks generic, and do we really need another FF title right now?

I was really getting my hopes up when i first heard about another Romancing SaGa title... even if it was for the DS, though i'd love to see what they could do with next-gen and that classic series ^_^
