Are you being serious?

It's OBVIOUSLY because a 5' 5" QB can't throw accuratly over a 6' "1 Lineman.

Yeah but they see over the line men in collage.

The average height for a defensive tackle in the NFL is better than 6-foot-3, while offensive guards average more than 6-foot-4. On the outside, things get even tougher. Tackles generally go 6-foot-5, tight ends 6-foot-6 and defensive ends around 6-foot-4. Not everyone is that size in NCAAF, plus it's at a slower pase.

It's also a mass/weight thing, since a bigger qb can take more damage before going down.

Short QB's can't also really see the field as well, it will look kind of flat to them.If you are tall you can not only see over the lineman but have a different view on your receivers and not throw stupid interceptions.

Some QB's are good even though they are short for their role... but thats a very small handful.

It's all about scanning the field, if you can't see ... you can't make the best plays.

Thanks, and I live about 30 min away from San Jose so I'm surrounded by mostly Raiders fans.....BTW it's good to see other niner faithful despite the teams horrid record.
