SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- The NFL is returning to Chicago for the 2016 draft, which will be held April 28 to 30 next year.
"You made the second city the first city for the draft,'' Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel said.
According to an economic study, the three-day 2015 draft generated $81.6 million economic impact. The event generated 31,000 hotel room along with 5,600 hotel nights from NFL staff and sponsors.
