Miami just won their 20th straight game. Tied for the 3rd longest winning streak in NBA history. Next up is the 2007-2008 Houston Rockets streak of 22 in a row. 1971-1972 Lakers streak of 33 is the record. Will the break it?

Miami Heat next 14 games schedule.

They would get #34 against Milwaukee.

Probably not, but it's possible. Even though a lot of those teams are below average, you get the other teams best shot when you are the champs, and couple that with teams having motivation to end the winning streak? We'll see. Possible but I wouldn't bet on it.

Nah. They'll probably lose at Boston.

Heat look great but man, they would need a 14 game winning streak (hard in and of itself) on top of the current 20. I would bet against it.

It'd be interesting to see, but I'm voting no. As finicky as it is, I could see them losing to a sub-.500 team like they almost did tonight.

Either the Celtics or later the Spurs. They have a chance to pull it off and I wouldn't mind seeing them do it.

Doubt it. Everybody wants to break it especially this late in the season while at the same time is not wise for the Heat to risk any injuries just for this.

I think its possible that the lakers streak would eventually get broken, unfortunately i dont think the heat would break it, i was actually surprised that they beat the sixers

We don't usually play well in Milwaukee, so I'll pick the loss there. If not, then most likely at Boston.

Think they'll lose to the Celts on the second half of the back to back.

I don't think they will, but who knows. I wouldn't have said they'd hit 20 to start with...

They'll lose sometime within the next 4 games.  THey've lost at least a game on every big road trip they've been on this year, and are only 19-11 away from home anyway.

Nobody can say for certain.  If they do that's great, I love winning and always encourage it.  If not then oh well, central focus is still on repeating.

No. They play down to their competition too much. Eventually it's gonna catch them.

They get good leads and comfortably finish games against good teams but they struggle with crap teams. Even last year. They have so many close games (some overtime) with teams like the Kings and the other day the 76ers. Its like they literally can not help playing down their competition. Its like an inability for them.

They should totally crush teams like this and as we know for whatever crazy Twilight Zone reason they really struggle with the Bucks.

Of course a title is the most important thing. The streak is nice but to answer the topic, thats my reason for saying no.

How many people are surprised James took a jump shot to win it last night? I thought for sure he would drive and get the easier bucket.

I don't know....... I point you towards the

Pittsburg Pirates and their 20 straight years below .500 record. That one might be unbreakable, whenever it ends.

The 1976 Bucs were worse than the 2008 Lions. Sure, they only went 0-14, but they would have gone 0-50 if the season were that long. They ended up losing 12 more in a row the following season.

My favorite story about that team was that when coach Jim McKay was asked how he felt about the "execution of his offense", he replied "i'm all for it".

"We can't stop the pass or the run. Otherwise, we're in great shape." McKay knew how how bad they were, haha.
