[QUOTE="Jagged3dge"][QUOTE="kage_53"] No. That belongs to Dwight "trade me, don't trade me, trade me, don't trade me, trade me" Howard. Also, Carmelo is more of a villain than Lebron for holding the Nuggets hostage. Lebron left in free agency. Can't believe people forget that.

"But it was the way in which he left"
I don't think Howard or Melo receive as much ridicule as LeBron despite them messing around demanding specialized trades. LeBron is just a much more nationally recognized player so the hate he receives kind of has a snow ball effect in which people dislike him because it's the popular notion.
However, I think that him winning a ring dissipated most of the antipathy that surrounded him. That is...outside of Cleveland at least.
I honestly think he got most of the hate because of the decision. People in Cleveland would be butthurt regardless of how he left, but that decision stuff pissed a lot of people off. I don't see why a regular NBA fan would be distraught over "The Decision." The media, or ESPN more specifically, was infutuated with where LeBron would end up, so he used the situation to raise money for a charity and announce his decision (A decision all NBA fans were curious to hear). All the people that hated LeBron over it were most likely guilty of tuning in.
