Some players this year that are medicore or lower are getting HUGE contracts.

Now there are some great players such as Thomas and Clements getting big bucks as excepted but players like Visanthe Shinacoe are getting over 7 million guarnteed?

yep just like baseball. some get what they deserve and some get overpaid. thats what happens in sports when u have a average free agent pool and teams are desperate. we have already had big trades with thomas jones to jets, wes welker to pats, dre bly to broncos for tatum bell to lions. i say in most situations its going to be money stupidly spent or lost.

Baseball this past off-season went downright INSANE when it came to free agent prices. WAY too much money spent on mediocre players after a few years of mostly reasonable spending. Yet in the NFL it is even more of a crap shoot than MLB. In the MLB older players can last a while and could come back after a year or so. NFL with a salary cap the possibility of a player getting hurt, just getting old, or being no good at all to your team is very real.
