I think Kaka is the best player in the world currently with Ronaldo not being far behind but when Ronaldinho is on form he is the best in the world.

I agree that if Messi continues to improve like he is he will go on to become the best player in the world for years to come and possible one of the true greats of the sport.

Like I've said before, it's tough to get recognition if you're not in the English, Spanish, Italian, or German leagues. Yes, he used to play for Barcelona, but wasn't good there (even though it was bad managing that hurt him), and yes, he helped win the Champions Cup and Intercontinental Cup with Porto in 04. But with that said, Porto is not as well-known as teams like Man U and Arsenal, and many people just don't know whohe is. He's an awesome player, but will always be in his compatriot Ronaldo's shadow.

I dont think that you can compare them. They are very different types of players-Kaka is a passer and mover, Ronaldo a dribbler. They both create and score goals, but in very different ways and from very different positions. I think that if they were both sold, they would cost about the same amount of money, so they are even on that count. Kaka is more my sort of player though-I would watch a good passing move above a good run any day.manic111
