We need some actual closers. If they can get some guys who won't completely blow the game in the late innings after our fantastic starters exit the field, the Tigers will be very scary to deal with.

It is painful to think that 2 of the 4 loses in that series were thanks to the bullpen completely throwing the game after the starter did a fantastic job of holding the Sox at bay for 6 or so innings.

Also, does anyone have any theories on what the Tigers need to get more consistency from the hitters? It was like Fielder went to sleep in the post-season, and in general there was a bad habit of our guys not giving Verlander ANY run support when he is up there shutting the other team down.
