Yeah that's kind of true. I liked how they didn't incorporate Chaos emeralds into Secret Rings. You had to obtain 7 world rings, I guess that's some progress.
I was trying to come up with a property of matter similar to that of electrism and magnetism. Positive repels positive (same with negative) and north repels north (similar with south), but matter ATTRACTS matter. I was thinking that the Emeralds are made of a material not known to science and whose properties are radically different than those of matter and anti-matter, but I came up with that poor sentence above. Should we call this new material Chaosemeraldium?

They could be like the dragonballs from that really stupid anime show with the spiky hair and wheye everybody screams a lot and there's enough flashing lights to give any kid and epileptic seizure and scatter for no good reason if not just to make life hard on people.
I don't why he keeps on losing them, I guess if he didn't lose them they games would be shorter, so I guess that's why he loses them, so the players can have the thrill of finding them.

Heh, I've been interested in astronomy and astrophysics 10 years now (and 1 month!), that's why I knew it (but in truth I got lucky). And I had it somewhat wrong because I made a word-by-word translation from my language (Greek) to English.

The law you mentioned is called that exact same thing in my AP Physics class. It's you have the wrong version. I'll explain it in a PM.
Maybe the emeralds are needed to maintain the smartness level of people going on thats why he has to scatter them all over the darn place cause if he didnt the world would be a much, much stupider place. Then again it is a cartoon so nothing really has to make sense as long as its funny and not educational. :)
Eggman did, to prevent Sonic from reaching him. He wastes so many time and money creating all those stages, while he could just cover the entire planet with spikes and leave no rings at all for grabbing.

LOL! Yeah, okay. That's take a while. Or maybe in the beginning, God created loops and checkered hills for Sonic to run around on, and scattered gold rings across the planet for the semi-amthromorphic hedgehogs to collect every day. ... Or maybe Yuji Naka programmed it?
