Who remember's The Getaway back in the day?

I remember being blown away by the graphics, & story was brilliant.

Black Monday was decent aswell but not as good as the original.

Disappointed they never carried the franchise on further, I know Getaway 3 was in development then got cancelled I think.

I never played the game. I do remember all the ads the game had going on for it though.

Haha....I have that game around here somewhere.

I never actually played it - but it's been used a number of times over the years as a platform for spatial navigation research in my field.

I found it massively disappointing.

It was too realistic in that it was a fucking nightmare to drive around London. Roads were too narrow and you'd hit a bollard every five seconds, rendering your vehicle unusable.

Great concept though, I'd be happy if they revived the franchise.

Er, the sequel was WAY better than the original game. More cars, bigger city, better driving, better shooting.
