Unable to read disc

So I just bought my Gamecube version of the game and my Wii won't "eat" the discs.

I have other GC games as well, which run perfect. Tried to reconnect my memcard and

controllers, to run firstly other GC games (still runned smoothly) and boot as well with

them, then to change to this. No effect, still getting the "unable to read the disc..."

Anyone has got an idea, why this is happening? Thank You in advance!

I know this is long overdue, but you obviously bought a bad copy of the disc - it's probably been damaged then resurfaced (which'll let people sell the game back to shops, but will not make it run on a console...)

It does happen from time to time.

Ive been a fanboy of the series since very long. But the toughest part was getting a PC that would run this old game via original CD. But it was sure worth the trouble
