President Donald Trump threatened to sue his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, over a slew of decreasing poll numbers, CNN reported Wednesday.

Trump's outburst came on Friday evening, one day after he suggested Americans may receive injections of household disinfectants to treat the novel coronavirus. According to CNN and the Associated Press. Trump fumed at Parscale over the phone during a huddle with advisers Friday, berating Parscale for his damaging poll numbers.

"I'm not f---ing losing to Joe Biden," Trump said, cursing at Parscale throughout the call, according to five sources who talked to the Associated Press. The Washington Post reported something similar, citing people familiar with the conversations.

After the call, Parscale described it to others as a Trump venting session, these people said.

It's unclear how serious the president, who has a history of filing flimsy lawsuits, was being. And sources told CNN that Trump and Parscale cleared things up later that day.

Two days before Trump excoriated his campaign manager, Parscale and other advisers filled Trump in on internal polling data from his campaign and the Republican National Committee that showed the president losing to former Vice President Joe Biden in key battleground states, CNN reported.

Honestly, I'm starting to think Trump is going ape shit at this point. While Biden might be in the first stages of dementia, Trump has gone full-blown schizophrenic.

I've lived through Reagan, H.W. Bush, Clinton, W. Bush and Obama. If any of them would have acted the way The Donald does, it would have been breaking news. An inquiry into their sanity would have been established.

@plageus900: you were probably 5 during reagan. Get real.

This is just a response to biden failing at dismissing his aligation. Joe looks even more guilty.

All the liberals on this board say trump is the worst president in history, man child, idiot, etc.....yet nobody on your side can beat him. That is how bad your candidates are.

Can’t wait for 4 more years of Trump and gallons of liberal tears.

He's only won one election, he's been losing local state elections - with many of his 2016 swing state victories now democratically controlled and got raped in the 2018 mid-terms. 2019 was a disaster year for the GOP, losing an insane amount of governor races.

Now he can't boast about the economy, so his platform for November is... "Immigrants are bad! Trans shouldn't serve in military! Big wall with Lysol."

These 4 years put him easily as the worst president yet, without a doubt.

Trump yelling and cursing at his campaign manager is because Biden "failed at dismissing his aligation"? What?

BTW, I didn't see you get this worked up when Trump failed at dismissing his 25 "aligations". Wassup with that?

@n64dd said:

He is rated as one of the worst in history not by just liberals though. I mean look at his Covid-19 failure, that alone will be a historic smear.

Biden beats him in all the polls, hence his outburst at his campaign manager.

LOL you like those far right policies, I hope you aren't under 40? The one positive thing he had was Obama's economy and he managed to tank that.

I mean, I thought it was common knowledge between Democrats and Republicans to brush off any story from cnn concerning Trump given you know - they’re the leaders of fake news.

No poll average said that and the polls for 2016 were correct. You're trolling.

The data shows your current estimate is simply based off of nothing. That's all. You're copy and pasting weird 4chan meme lines about liberal tears while I'm just citing data.

Probably why your "team" thinks science is fake.

Hillary was within 1-4 digit points from Trump in most battleground states, she actually was losing in some. The polls are within a margin of error, so they weren't wrong. National polls were right, she won the popular vote.

Pollsters are completely changing their strategy for 2020 and doing a more in depth analysis of state polls rather than nationally.

@Guy_Brohski: It’d be worse. Hillary at least could function as a bright individual. Biden is suffering from dementia and is inarticulate. That’s a better choice than Trump? Of course not.

Watch some interviews of Biden. I dare you to tell me or anyone else he’s leader of the free capable.

I'm sorry but Trump is considerably more insane. It's more than just messing up words, he actually means it. Not just slips of the tongue. Why does he have over 10,000 false statements, does he have dementia or he just an insane liar? Which is worse?

His Corona Virus fails shows us how much more worse this is than just slips of the tongue. He's a nutjob.

Also the extreme far right policies don't help either.

All the candidates are bad, all the politicians are bad. We seriously need to revamp the process. How? I don't know, go ask someone who knows their shit. But I do know we need change. And not hippie-dippie liberal change, I mean common sense realistic change.

As for four more years of Trump, I wouldn't say I "can't wait" but if it is no worse than the first four I will be OK. The guy is, for the most part, a do-nothing president.

With that said, I cannot find one good reason to vote for Trump. I am trying to, I really am. I guess maybe because he isn't Biden?

I was just stating facts, don't get so upset. Trump screwed up big time on Corona in terms of actions, and has verbal gaffs on it weekly. Biden is nothing compared to that.

Nice deflection, but Biden is more popular and wins all the polls at the moment. Says a lot about the much hated Trump when Biden is more liked. Hell even Hillary was more liked, yikes.

You watched what go down? What are you talking about? Trump is the only one melting down.

Perhaps he should stop melting down over his bad poll numbers vs. Biden, and start trying to do a good job on Corona. It's getting bad.

The Pundits and EC Predictions got it wrong. The national polls were correct. Using this data to calculate an EC win works 80% of the time. It's not foolproof, due to how the EC works. But that 80% is better than spamming 4chan meme's like you two are doing.

National opinion polling correctly predicted the outcome for what they measure. National opinion. None of these said Hillary 90%+. They said Hillary +3%. She got +2%. Meaning they were right.

The Polls Are All Right

@zaryia: Donald Trump’s surprise victory poses the question: How did we get this thing this wrong? From the myriad polls and poll aggregators, to the vaunted oracles at Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight and the New York Times’s shiny forecasting interface, most serious predictors completely misjudged Trump’s chances of victory.

From your last site, might want to read your own sources.

Polls are either facts and always right, or they’re wrong and not facts. You can’t spin to win on this one.

Polls have a margin of error FYI. They take a snapshot of what people are feeling on x date. However, they cannot account for people not going to vote on election day. I don't think that scenario will repeat this time though. Americans are so damn lazy about democracy.

The 2016 Presidential Election national polls were correct in what they measure according to two aggregates. These numbers can not be changed, you were wrong.

You might want to read all of my sources, you might finally stop being wrong all the time:

National polls only measure the popular vote. Clinton did, in fact, win the national popular vote by 2.1 points. The average of the 13 final national polls had Clinton ahead by 3.1 points, which was only a point off the actual result.

Your quote is talking about EC Predictions and EC Forecasts based off of the polls, which were wrong. Not the polls themselves, which were correct. Likewise, the 2018 predictions also used accurate opinion poll data, but those predictions ended up much closer to the mark. It's still very valid and important data to use, as it is typically correct and Pundits/Analysists use those to predict the winner for the EC 80% of the time.

As your god said after looking at this vital opinion poll data,

'I'm not f---ing losing to Joe Biden'

Final Results

48.2

46.1

Clinton +2.1

RCP Average

11/1 - 11/7

46.8

43.6

Clinton +3.2

If you can alter the above 2 numbers, I will ask a moderator to permanently ban this account. I mean dude, even Trump's team uses internal polls and this entire story is about him going nuts over them. Stop with the act.

BTW, this quote chain sparked the debate you just lost:

Biden beats him in all the polls, hence his outburst at his campaign manager.

I'm simply stating your claim has no basis in reality by using all current public opinion estimates. Public opinion estimates are usually very accurate. They don't always properly estimate the winner (80%), but they are better than randomly saying stuff like you are doing.

On the flip-side your claims have no basis on any data points. As usual.

The 2016 polls were within margin of error and correct. They said Hillary +3% for national opinion, she got +2% for national opinion. However as we know this does not always translate to an EC win, that happens around 80% of the time going by the last few decades of polling.

Either way I'm fine with using current/accurate public opinion data when someone randomly says stupid shit like,

Even AFTER Trump exploded due to internal polling.

Well he is right, us Bernie supporters will support him out of spite and wait for a new fair progressive candidate or not vote.

Biden was a Fool to think he could get away with his evil ways

So you far left guys will get the courts packed far right for decades, due to childish grievances?

This makes as much as sense as Alex Jones.

Voting for Trump if you don’t get to vote for Bernie doesn’t make sense at all...

You're never going to get a new fair progressive candidate. "True" progressives are fucking dogshit at running political campaigns and they have no idea how the game works. They're as bad at this as Ned Stark. They're trying to play checkers on a chess board and then get mad and confused about why they lose. As soon as a progressive starts to exert actual political competency their progressive followers turn on them and attack them for being snakes or whatever.
