YLOD vs Online Play

I have been hearing alot about the YLOD (yellow light of death)and just wondered if everyone that got this plays or has played online, at least a little. I have never gotten the YLOD (knock on wood), but I have no online connection for my PS3, so I was just wondering if there might be a correlation between online and YLOD? Thoughts anyone?

I have been playing online with my ps3 since day one.

I have still yet to come a cross any problems, other then my Ps3 freezing once in a while.

But from what I hear it's not really the online play but the ps3 freezing alot after some updates.

I'm sure Online play does cause some YLOD, but not as much as everyone says it does.

It has nothing to do with online. Just so you know.

There's not any correlation between them.
