Hey, What is the difference between X-Box and PS3 Whats Better? Im 100% precent sure im getting PS3 but i just need to know. Also what games even if not new are good on PS3? and can u play ps2 games on PS3?
PS3 has free online and has better exclusive games. Xbox has a lot of good online games but charges for online. $50 dollars a year. (which isn't to bad!) Xbox does beat PS3 in online which is why it is required 50 a year. PS3 can NOT play PS2 games. Only the older models can. So basically if your a die hard online multiplayer fan you might favor xbox. If you like multiplayer and also like a good single player experience you will love playstation. Also, playstation is a 1000 time better value than the xbox. Value=PS3
The main difference between the two in my opinion are community features. PS3 has Home which is pretty cool. 360 has things like cross game invites, private chat, and parties which help when playing with friends. Besides that, IMO i like PS3 more. The only ads are in the Store ( which is understandable ) and home. The 360 has ads all over, and they might be adding even more. I have more fun with PS3 exclusives also, but that mainly depends on your tastes.

I know this is just a joke topic, but whatever. Personally, I think each have their strong points. I own a ps3, wii, and xbox 360 so I can tell from experience. PS3 is my favorite console for just single player games but I do spend hours each week playing killzone 2. Xbox is my online gaming hub since most of my games for it are online and every single friend I know has one. As for my wii... It's my console for when friends are over, mostly cause I don't have more than 1 controller for my others.
the 360 has a tendency to break on u numerous times, ps3 has free online, i dont know why people say the online for the 360 is better, its basically the same exact thing
Doesn't metter if you play with xbox or Wii or pc. its unbelievable for me this comparison. PLAYSTATION is PLAYSTATION and the other consol are only plastic box. I love ps at all.
Sort of wrong thread but anyway. I own both. PS3's way better. Xbox 360's game's are similar, only a few exclusives that are worth it, PS3's exclusives kills 360's. MGS4, LBP Etc. Xbox 360 gets alot of RROD's, and you have to pay online. Where as PS3 can break down, but not as much as the 360, and also the online is free.
