So I want to buy a wireless adapter that I would use for both my 360 and ps3 depending on which I want to play at the time. I have wireless internet going through my house already. Even though I have the "lightning" internet that my provider has, my internet download speed is 40 MBPS, I actually get 39 MBPS according to the speed test.

Anyway, I have 3 wireless adapters to choose from. One for $30 that has speed of 150 mbps, another for $70 that says it has a speed of 300 mbps, and one for $120 that has a speed for 450 mbps.

My question is, should I just get the 150 mbps wireless adapter since apparently my internet can only go up to 40 mbps? So would I be wasting money to get the 450 mbps if I am limited to 40?

Please let me know what you think.

Thank You

The PS3 has built in wireless. Or do you have an older model?

no it will not. I had a 20gig originally. The only thing you could do is use like a gaming adapter where a ethernet cable runs from the ps3 into the adapter and the adapter is wifi. Like this:

Linksys WET610N
Wireless-N Bridge

^^^^ - Yes that is what I am going to get. Should I just get the 150mbps then? Or get the 450mbps?
