Will you buy the PS4 Slim over the PS4 Pro

The PS4 S is a failure and will always be a failure, for an extra $100-200 (depending on where you live), you can get the PS4 P, who wouldn't get that?

hi Dont be blindfolded into buying a 4k tv! With a very large tv size you have a hard time seeing the action on screen . Of course any image is going to blur; thats because human eyes cant follow rapid movements; so many actions seen by the human eye will blur; in any case a very large tv doesnt solve that problem .

no sure why anyone would choose the slim over the Pro except for financial reasons. Which, on the one hand, $100 is a lot of money, but on the other hand it's very very little money over the course of a year, let alone a few years. So IMO it's hard to make a case for the Slim in the face of the Pro

no I'm not getting a Slim but I'm trading my PS4 on Saturday so i'll see how much cash I get for it.

For the Coolyfett household it will be the PS4 Slim and the NX then Coolyfett is retiring.

If you don't have a 4K TV, there's no point in getting a PS4 Pro.

Even then it's more for VR than anything else.

For new buyers I can't see them willingly buy a Slim over a Pro. For what could be_

I've been vocal for many reasons why >I< wouldn't upgrade to Pro on GFAQS.

From my knowledge Pro was build to handle VR better and to give 4K owners something to get excited about. Otherwise it's still a PS4, it runs the same games, if you expect much/much more? You'll be disappointed.

It won't magically run games like Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank, or Tearaway at 60FPS. Until shown otherwise I'll happily live in reality.

For games I believe the hype a lot, but for hardware Sony always brag about features they can't deliver.

However, for new customers it is being considerately seen as the definite PS4 experience. Even if it turns out to be PR non-sense. And for that potential alone will make new customers favor the Pro.

I think the slim should be $199. It would fly off the shelves.

I think it being $299 is just a conspiracy to sell the base ps4 leftover stock. I feel like once all of those are gone, the slim will be cut to $199

Do you know what I think? I think the pro is much better because sooner or later the old ps4s will start to stutter on new titles.

I play on PC, when I get a PS4 it will be only to play exclusives so whatever is the cheapest way to play all the games I want to play. That will probably be the slim.

I want to trade it in but the wife wants me to keep it so I may as well hold onto it for the time being mate, I just wish the scorpio was coming out this year lol oh well it'll give us more time to save up some cash.

I'm not buying either unless my ps4 would happen to die on me.

I think that if you sell your ps4 for lets say 200 dollars this will be good enough than you'll need 200 more for the pro.

Not everyone lives in the US.

I already own an original PS4 but if I were to buy a new one I would choose the Pro over the slim anyday.

I sold mine and I got 220 dollars for it

I have already paid off my PlayStation 4 Pro pre order. So I am waiting until November 10th 2016. I still have my launch day regular PlayStation 4 console. I will eventually get the PlayStation 4 Slim some time down the road. I have all of the PlayStation consoles except the PS4 slim. I have all of the PlayStation Phat and slim PS1/PS2/PS3 and 2 of 3 PS4 consoles.

I am looking forward to the PS4 pro in 9 days, and will eventually get the PS4 slim for the full set of Playstations.
