Why would anyone even buy the PSP 3000 ????

lets face it, after i saw that some games come out for the DS rather then the PSP you can tell that the PSP is pretty much dead

Guess not.....

lets review this.. at first Psp phat came out. All of us were thrilled and excited about the handheld Playstation. after awhile psp slim came. we were astounded by the new features that slim has and made us buy the psp slim.. now PSP 3000 is here... ive got to say.. all those 'new features' that they are telling are just.. not enough for me to buy this new psp 3000.

in terms of the games.. DS has an absolute advantage in games. DS may not be that graphically enhanced but they have a whole array of great games.. the advantage however of the PSP is(obviously) graphics, the fact that there alot of PSP owners and players out there.. so finding a multiplayer friend is quite easy.

Wish people who already had the PSP would quit posting against the new version in every single forum I've ever glanced at. No it's not worth buying ANOTHER copy for the upgrade. It's for people who still don't have one, or just want to get another one for any various reason.(Such as gifts or replacements) If you don't like it, don't buy it, but don't come complain about it, that's even worse. It's basically just you saying, "i already have one, why should I have to buy another one?" YOU DONT HAVE TO. You see this same BS in any forum about any new device version, doesn't anyone notice a pattern here? When todays morons get mature tomorrow, yesterdays morons take their place.

As far as DS vs PSP, I'm taking PSP because I favor 1 good screen instead of 2 half decent screens. I also don't like the stick, how can you use that and buttons at the same time? I may also use it as a small DVD player sometimes. DS seems useless to me; if you are worried about the screen, buy a 15$ case. But thats just my opinion.

I'm actually about to buy a 3000 and get rid of my DS.

The PSP offers a console experience in a handheld, and the DS has become worn out for me. I have played all the first party games for the DS, and now I am ready for a deeper experience, which only the PSP offers. If you haven't had a PSP in a couple years (like me), you can get some of the best games for only $20. Games like God of War, Wipeout, Ratchet and Clank, Tiger Woods, Metal Slug Anthology, GTAs, Force Unleashed, Need for Speed, Madden, Daxter, SOCOM, and many others will keep me busy for a looooong time. Also, you get movie, music and internet, which, if you don't have an IPod touch, is a very good thing.

i already have a 2000 model so i wont even bother with the 3000. but if you still dont have a psp and plan to buy one soon, i recomend you to wait for the 3000. its obviously much better than the 2000.boybrushdred
