Well the things is going for cover ill be in one part of the cover regaing health when someone comes from somewhere else, and because of the shooting mechanics ill aim at that person about to shoot me when someone else kills me from behind basically i just find myself surroundedTheSonyKid
You can try keeping your back against a wall I guess. Then you've got your back covered.
U2 is not that hard actually, when I beat the game on crushing I was pretty surpprised that it wasnt all that difficult. I was expecting Crushing to be alot more difficult tha it actually was. U2 is not a hard gameJ-WOW
I think he's talking about Drake's Fortune which on Hard mode was actually hard lol. And Crushing was constantly crushing you. But yeah UC2 wasn't that hard.
As to the cover system, I will add the suggestion that you constantly move from cover point to cover point. If you simply camp out behind a rock, they WILL get you...
Your joking right? The games are pretty damn easy. Just play on easy or very easy if you really have too.
Why is TheSonyKid so bad at Uncharted? Are you taking cover? Regaining health behind cover when dying? Going for headshots? The Uncharted games, I believe, are slightly notorious in being quite easy apart from a few levels which you can struggle with on Crushing.AdziboyLOL true :)

It ain't that hard 2 me. I played it on normal difficulty settings and completed in 2days. I'm sure hard and crushing would be a piece of cake for me as well :). If you find the game that hard then just play easy although its less rewarding when you complete it on that difficulty settings.

Hmm, it's weird. I thought both Uncharted games were easy even on crushing. The only kinda hard part on Drake's fortune was chapter 4 in the plane crash site. The rest was easy. What difficulty are you playing on?
ElGreco88
This exactly, that was my hardest part as well
I don't think Uncharted is that hard Kane & Lynch 2 Dog Days was a lot more harder especially as you get still get shot while your in cover.
I think you just suck at games, Uncharted isn't hard at all. In the original Uncharted there was a few areas I had to try quite a few times but nothing too challenging and overall it was pretty easy.
I think its pretty easy, although some platforming elements and mildly clunky controls can result in a few cheap deaths
Ok I love this game but find myself dying CONSTANTLY. It is really annoying I'll go through a wave of enemies to find myself make a mistake and be killed by the last two not that much of a problem.... until my checkpoint sends me alll the way back to that same wave of enemiesTheSonyKid
it's because u r still a noob.

yea you lil nooblet. i got plat on 1 and 2. just take your time and use cover nubsterUncharted 1's difficulty modes are somewhat unbalanced compared to Uncharted 2. Easy is easy as, and Normal if forgiving, but Hard and Crushing have some huge leaps in difficulty. Also, enemies take more shots to kill in Uncharted 1 than in 2. There's also a larger focus on arena fights, which pretty much demands trial and error. Even though you have your back covered a lot of the time, it doesn't take a lot for all enemy types to flank you quickly. The main rule is to play it Gears of War style and constantly duck, roll and cover. And remember where the tougher enemies spawn from so you can take them out before they become a hassle. In Uncharted 1 you can spam rolling to avoid enemy fire. ;)HellsAngel2cYes, this is the only way to get through the game. I just didnt enjoy how the game forces you to spam roll all over the damn place.
Uncharted 1 and 2...a few annoying spots, but not 'hard'.
Demon's Souls...tough as nails.

I find the Souls games to be pretty easy provided you know where to go and what strategy to use on what enemy, and I'm not a super-hero gamer or anything.
I'm currently playing through the Uncharted games again (almost done -- got 5 or so chapters to go on Uncharted 3), and it's really striking me how incredibly bad the controls are in these games. I'm pretty sure I'll trade them in when I'm done with this play-through because I don't think I'll ever play them again. The stories are great, but the cover system really sucks (almost always get stuck behind the wrong cover and then you're glued to it) and the platforming controls are terrible. When you want Drake to jump to another platform you've gotta mess with the stick for a minute to get the exact sweet spot where he actually leans towards where you want.

i found it the other way round lol

Start a new game on hard mode just to practice, then play Uncharted on normal.
Hmm, I had the same problem. Struggled through the first 2 on easy, admittedly. It wasn't until I played in beat the third one on both Normal then Crushing that I finally got the feel for the games. I'm not sure what my previous problem was, I just sucked at it I guess. I've since gone back and beat them all on Crushing, which was a pretty good challenge to me, but doable nonetheless. You have to use cover, yet you can't just sit there and let enemies swarm you, the latter part may have been one of my issues. After all my experience I can't say it's an easy or hard game, it's somewhere inbetween. SoNin360The biggest issue is aiming & having the right touch to do it. Also cover patience will effect how well you last. You cant just run out guns a blazing lol.
