because sony didnt mention it at E3 when they should of, instead of showing off genji, and microsoft took the chance started talking like it was xbox360 exclusive...thus the rumours spread like wildfire
There is not enough PS3 sold to make there money back selling GTA4 as a PS3 exclusive.
The only way GTA4 would have stayed on the PS3 would have been if Sony paid for it to be exclusive but Sony always says that it dosn't pay for exclusives. Bad move by Sony as alot of people would have bought the PS3 just for GTA4.
actually the reason is probably a quick rumor that shot around (even though it was quickly debunked)
 the rumor said it wasn't coming because rockstar's website or something left the ps3 version off some list (you can see it on qj.net). anyway, it was stupid and is over now.
Because Peter Moore if I remember right... Said it was going for Xbox360 only or atleast he made it look that waySomeguyinavan
At CES 06 Moore made the announcement it was coming to the 360. The same day Rock Star said it would be released for the PS3 the same day it is released for the 360.
Partly for the same reason that 360 fanboys keep saying that MGS4 will be on the 360, despite the fact that Konami AND the MGS creator (I forget his name)Â said that there is no way that will happen. The only other time you'll see Snake on a non-Sony system will be on the Wii.
This whole rumour started because while the Rockstar website was being updated, some fool realized that the PS3 version of GTA4 was not listed, there was only the 360 logo. Therefore he spread word that the PS3 version was notably missing, a few rumour mongering websites picked it up and decided to spin it as potentially being a 360 exclusive. Once Rockstar finished updating the site, however, the PS3 logo could be seen, and everybody felt like idiots and the rumour was crushed as soon as it started.
So those of you trying to spread FUD, please cease and desist.

Anyway, people just like to make rumors about this, that, and the other thing to get peoples blood boiling. Until you see an official announcement, don't believe the rumors.Â

You can buy a HDMI cable for like £10 and you don't need 120gb HDD because the 360 will be limited to know that most people will have 20gb. Also Black looks crap compared to White on the 360.

Games aren't using the 20gb. It's for the additional downloadable content. Also, you're not paying for a bundled cable, you're paying to actually have an HDMI port which isn't currently available. Try researching first maybe, thanks.

Why have a HDMI port when you can just buy a cable for HDMI? Why have 120gb when games wont ever use over 20gb? Whocares for additional content tbh when i owned a 360 in decemeber is didn't see anything worthwhile downloading. Just use a PC for anything else.
 Maybe because they are losing,duhhh , but you also have to consider that the 360 came out ages ago and the wii is just cheap and gay and its just a fad that will die out.
