i would like to know if most ps3's are connected online somehow as a ps3 is pretty much useless without online gaming and other stuff. And is there a way of updateing FWire without online connectivity
to download FW with out hooking your PS3 up to the internet, you need a memory stick or the equivalent then go to playstation.com and you can dl it there
I know mine is online, but I dont know about the rest of the world. So how exactly are PS3's useless without internet? cause the only things I use my PS3's internet for is Socom and occasionally checking out the PSN.

I play online mostly, (FIFA, COD4, Warhawk, socom soon). Although its nice to get some non online play in like with MGS4 and I'm playing Dead Space now.
