Just wondering cuz tmrw i'm heading down to where u guys are at (USA) and games are cheaper there so should i get Oblivion or Rainbow 6? If i get one, i won't get the other for the rest of my life.
as oblivion gives you a playtime of about 200hours i'd suggest you get this one. but actually you must know what you wanna play. want a tactical shooter or a massive RPG? both games are excellent in what they're trying to do. i for once would pick oblivion over RB6 again and again.
I haven't played R6V yet, but it seems like the only replay value it has is the multiplayer. Oblivion will last you a VERY long time with all of the sidequests and stuff.
I have both and have played oblivion about 60 hours, just got R6V the other day. Sure you can get 200 hours out of oblivion, but I have more fun playing R6V (single and multi player)
I have both and have logged about 160 hours in the game, just got rainbowsix and I've got darkness yeah I've got money to blow I know, but out of these oblivion by a long shot. Its hard to compare these games because of different genres, but you have to be an rpg fan to play oblivion other wise grab rainbow. Me personally after playing darkness I've enjoyed the single player much more than rainbow six's single player, but rainbow has it beat in the multiplayer department hands down.
If you have a lot of time to invest into it then Oblivion would be the better choice, if your an FPS fan, and aren't planning on spending 100+ hours of time on a game then R6 Vegas, i've got both 120+ hours on Oblivion, and just got R6. I could never choose though, i'd say get both.
you cant really compare Rainbow six to Oblivion because they are 2 different genres. For me personnaly though i would go with rainbow six because i am aHUGE fan of shooters and i dont have the dedication to play an rpg.
