My guess would be PS3. Far more complicated hardware design.

The PS3 is a very complicated piece of hardware compared to PS2 but is actually easier to develop on PS3 because this time Sony has better tools for it and you can program in C++ and other compilers instead of binary on PS2.

The PS3 and even the 360 have more complex processors than gaming consoles of the past. They both use multi-core processors.

For neither one. Some devs who complain that to work for ps3 is complicated, are like cry babies. For Gods sake! Do your work well for ps3, if not, leave someone else instead. Because there is potential, you'll see in exclusive ps3 games.

Sony is working hard trying to get the information the developers need. But on the other side they say that if a game is developed for a 360 it has to be re-engineered for the PS3. But if it is developed from the ground up for the PS3 it is somewhat easier.
