Much different games, proving ground is newer but I doubt the better. Proving ground is a skateboarding game with the focus on racing down hills, while project 8 is your typical tony hawk game.
i just ordered proving ground off ebay i just wanted a new game that was good and pritty cheap its my bday in march so ithink ill get skate 2 and LBP on my bday i just wasnt sure which was better proving ground or project 8
Proving Ground is much better than Project 8, don't let Gamespot's scores fool you. Proving Ground has more customization, a story, a bigger world, the ability to add skate pieces to the world where ever and when ever you want and your own skate lounge for you to create a skate park in.
Proving Ground >>>>>>>>> EA Skate. Skate is overated.
Proving Ground also has a better attitude than Project 8. Project 8 has that stupid "Let's be bad asses and stick it to the man," kind of attitude. Proving Ground has a more of a "Let's just skate" legitimate attitude.
