What you think would be the best way to upgrade xmb

I think you should be able to pay for different structures for instance you pay a 1 off fee and you ps3 displays like a computer.

or have a 360 original layout with the different slides for media messages etc.

the thing that most turns people off when it comes to ps3 is the xmb is a little boring to look at i personally like it i just think to a novice user may be confronting.

i think serious money could be made off of working with different layouts of the xmb like you pay for a customisation tool that allows you to construct your own uinque layout.

This idea could work many ways anyway ill leave you guys to be the judge of that and feel free to drop in your own ideas thanks for listening (reading).

I don't think charging for XMB is going to happen. Honestly, I look at the XMB for maayybee.....10 seconds?

1) Turn on ps3

2) See which of my friends are online

3) Start up a video game/movie

I think it would be cool if Sony let people do what some people do with hacked psps.*Disclamer I am not endorsing or telling people how to mod or anything so please mods don't get mad* Hackers make it so the themes can make the xmb more than just different symbols for the stuff such as Game, Music etc, and can make it so they appear at different places of the screen, have different system boot and game boot animations and some other things. If Sony made it so that people could make these types of themes without having to have a hacked system it would be great, and with Sony backing it I'm sure it would be even better.

I love the XMB. i have rarly used the 360 menu so maybe its better, i dont know but i do know i love me some XMB :P. i also feel the same way about PSN vs Xbox live.
