How much are the 8 gb at retail? i have my original 1gb stick. :(

50 bucks in retail. i was looking on amazon and i might get one with expedieted shipping (i am going to chicago in a few days, i want it here before then) for 30 bucks.

How ironic. I live in chicago, looks like im getting an amazon account tho. Where do they get their stock? Is it like ebay?Most of the new products are provided by the manufacturer, but they do have a marketplace feature that lets people sell things themselves.
4gb does me fine.
Its a pretty simple thing aswell and basic space management comes into play.Not playing a game delete the game data then re download it when you want to play it again.But if your like me then you buy most games with a physical copy so it doesnt make a massive diffrence.
I recommend an 8gb. Even if you only will use it for games, a few PSN games are huge, FFVII, FFVIII you know. You can get one from Amazon for $20. Great deal.

yeah and i wouldnt even expect to pay $20. Maybe a little less. but dont be tempted by some super-cheap 1GB or 2GB MS, they just wont cut it.

You can store save data to Media Go and then transfer it over when you need it.
