I tried to connect an ipod video to my PS3 and the ipod won't show up? On the Ipod it says "don't disconect" but it won't show up on the PS3? What's the problem?
i have the clasic ... and it's working fine with the ps3 just go to settings and "display all" .. but only the music will work i think you cant display the videos
goto your music folder on your PS3, goto the USB Device icon, click triangle on usb device and then select display all. Your files should show up.

Try turning your PS3 off, connecting your Ipod, then turning your PS3 back on with Ipod already connected. Sometimes it doesn't autodetect a new USB device.

That's a good idea, the PS3 picks up my Flash Drive and PSP but no the ipod, i'll try it though because those were already connected.
