UT3 and Haze

so r they now ps3 exclusives? some1 on the forums said UT3 was said 2 b ps3 exclusive by PSM and Haze i think i read it on gamespot it "jumped" ships...can some1 confirm these? thanks :D

Haze is extremely hazy right now (no pun intended lol). UT3 is timed exclusive, but haze MIGHT be a ps3 exclusive forever

It is exclusive for ever! Ubi said that! PC/ 360 versions were drop of map. As for UT3 it is timed exclusive for a year or so. Until 360 get that downgraded version(Epic said, their version will have less maps on the disc, while the rest of maps will be abailable for download and no K/M, PC Crossplay support).

PS3 and PC versions of UT3 will be far superior to the 360 version because of the available maps, crossplatform online and the mouse/keyboard support.

Haze is an exclusive, will probably be a 9.0+ scoring game. maybe 8.5

HAze - currently, the primary (only) SKU is the PS3 version... other than that, who cares? Really now.

As for UT3 - Epic has to do some extra work with that version I'd assume. The game is estimated to clock in at around 15-25Gb, and, this game isn't well suited for multiple disks at all. That, along with the fact that Mods, something that really keep the UT games alive has an uncertain future on the 360. The PS3/PC versions of UT were worked on side-by-side for a reason - they are practically identical, which obviously would aid in development.

I'd expect to see a 360 version of UT3 around mid-late 2008, unless Sony does something further to secure console exclusivity.

You can choose to play with controller only players by using a game filter. You can filter out KB/M only, Controller only, or both. Not sure if PS3 has a map editor, I don't think so. But as for mods, all you need is a USB stick to transfer the download to the ps3.
